Hi folks

For those of you that may need to look up some data on chips & other semiconductors, here are the links to a couple of FREE online data
sites.

http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/
http://datasheet4u.com/

Data is in downloadable .PDF format.
One of the sites puts a watermark on an added extra last page.

At work, we use www.chipdocs.com - but that it a pay site & I still
search for data at the above Free sites, when I can't get the
data from the chipdocs site.

Does anyone know of a good site where I can find transistor equivalents?
I got a small yellow book that has 1983 printed on the cover so it lists me components that are already out of production.

Hi bossarea

We use a couple of substitution books at work,
I will get the exact details:

Title - ISBN - Publisher, for you tomorrow when I go to work, as it's still sunday over here, they retail for about $25 to $30 Aust.

If you are in need of substitution data & can wait for an evening or two, just let me know which semiconductor/s you would like equivalents for.

I will look them up for you & send back the details.
That goes for all the other forum members as well...

Hi Basstyra
It's one of the great data-sheet sites, but it doesn't list equivelents.

I did some searching and came across the following site
http://perso.orange.fr/pouzou/site/composants/sc/2s0.htm

This is just the page for 2SC equivalents which was what I needed yesterday. There's no home link so I haven't found the main page yet.

Not chip info exactly, but go here:
http://focus.ti.com/lit/

Then enter "SLOD006A" (no quotes) as a search term in the Search by Keyword box. you should get a bunch of results that are chapters of TI's publication "Op Amps for Everyone".
