Why wouldn't you just rehouse the electronics? The effort to jam that many pots and switches into the Boss housing just seems pointless to me...

I've saw/heard these being demo'ed on Youtube...sounded a bit thin to me but it could of been the recording or the amp...personally i thought stock sounded better...

I also heard a demo on youtube of a DS-1 with a tube in, if I remember correctly it was also Soul Power. It didn't change the sound alot though.

I hate seeing 3PDT switches mounted onto boss and ibanez pedals. If they did this to vintage pedals i would be seriously concerned. As for all the pots i feel sorry for the poor boss pedals, may they rest in peace!

im watching it right now... they use Smells Like Teen Spirit for the demo song. Sounds like garbage... if they just turned on a ds-2 and used chorus it'd be dead accurate.

Also watched the MT-2 video... sounds pretty much like a keeley mod but butchered cosmetically. MT-2 for Metal = ...and my opinion matters since i was a seven years user...

Anything with that many pots and switches should be rack-mountable.

Looks like just a case of someone thinking that more = a better mod. i don't think it's necessary to have THAT many options on a pedal. I also don't like the look...kinda junky.

I just started doing mods recently and i have a herd time fitting just one extra part. how the hell are they getting all of them in there
